Sports

Students in grades 6-8 have the opportunity to try out for teams that compete in interschool competitions sanctioned by the Nova School Athletic Federation. We have traditionally competed in such sports as golf, cross country running, soccer, volleyball, basketball, curling, badminton and track and field.

On occasion we have had the ability to form second teams when there has been a keen interest from students, available facility space and willing coaches and volunteers. In any case there is usually a cost involved due to officials, uniforms, equipment, buses for transportation when parents are not available to drive, and the annual NSSAF membership dues. The amount for each player is usually based on the number of games, cost of officials, etc.

If you have any interest in helping with a team in a particular sport or activity, or have any questions regarding school sports, please contact Mr. Bustin, our P.E. teacher at the school (538-4720).
